Our Human Resources Vision for 2009 – 2014
The Human Resources Strategy for 2009 – 2014 sets out the key HR strategic priorities for the University and RWCMD. The University and College seek to be employers of choice for academic and support staff, locally, nationally and internationally. The strategy will be delivered across the College, Faculties and Departments via an annually reviewed operational plan.
The underlying aims of the Human Resources Strategy are to continue the development of a culture and working environment entailing:
Fairness of treatment and behaviour;
Respect for diversity and difference;
Excellent performance at organisational, team and individual levels;
Meaningful and effective employee engagement;
Safety, good physical and mental health and health promotion;
Excellence in leadership and management;
Innovation and adaptability in the management of human resources as circumstances change in Higher Education.
